We're now in our 7th year of homeschooling and still I'm learning which "method" suits us best. Flowing with the tide has seemed to be the best solution in a home full of squirmy boys who all learn differently and a mom who's got a baby on a hip and a little-bit at her ankles. We scrimp and save and always buy used or trek to the library. We've learned to make use of what we have and appreciate where we are, giving ourselves a lot of grace in these growing years. Even with time under our belt we haven't got this thing figured out. We're still tweaking and adjusting, slowing and repeating. Nevertheless, it's worth documenting those things that we use... both for our own fond memories and just in case there's a family out there that's a little like us.
